Episode 2 - My Lucky Valentine - Mapleton 10th Ward

Episode 2 - My Lucky Valentine - Mapleton 10th Ward My Lucky Valentine Dinner, Games, Questions. At the beginning of the evening members were handed a blue or pink ticket, that had half a scripture about love written on it. A boy stood up and read the first half of a scripture and the girl with the second half of the same scripture would stand and read hers, thus pairing the two for the evening. 2 games were played the Toothpick game and the orange game. We had spaghetti dinner where people had a real chance to sit down and get to know their partner and prepare for the quiz to come. At end of the night we played the "Newlywed Game" to see how well everyone got to know their partner. Bob Barker was our host (Sam Averett). We would like to thank him for his time! We hope that with this activity the members of the ward would get out of their comfort zone and get to know those outside of their circle of friends and really come to "Love one another", not just "Love thy friends".

Episode 1 - Soldier Hollow Tubing Trip - Mapleton 10th Ward

Soldier Hollow Tubing Trip The annual Soldier Hollow Trip. We had 56 people come to this event, which was great considering we bought 37 tickets. We had friendly competitions, tubing trains of 12 or more people and hot chocolate and doughnuts. Sadly we almost had one fatality. Yes, Chris was run over by the tubing train. Sarah slid off the road on the way home, and we were stopped by an avalanche down Provo Canyon. Oh what a night of great fun! Please join us for our next activity in February.
